Kadaj x Reader- Nightmares

-Your POV-

It had been three weeks since (Y/N) had been with the remnants, it was almost like she was apart of their little family. She had a small crush on Kadaj. Even though he seemed harsh towards her she still thought he had a little soft spot if you hit it right. Sometimes at night, (Y/N) would have nightmares about monsters. Sometimes she'd ask to cuddle with one of the brothers, one of them would be Kadaj and some nights she'd just lay awake and not get any sleep at all.

Like this night, (Y/N) woke up screaming with another nightmare. She looked around to see that she was still in the cabin where the remnants were living in. (Y/N) sighed, got up out of her bed and walked quietly towards Kadaj's room. She peeked her head inside to see that he was still sleeping, she blushed slightly at his sleeping face. She found it cute when he slept. (Y/N) quietly walked over to him and gently shook him awake.

"K-Kadaj..." She muttered quietly.

Kadaj's eyes opened slightly to see her there and sat up half way. "What is it, (Y/N)?" He questioned.

"I-I had a nightmare..."

Kadaj looked at her with a bit of an annoyed look and she gave him a pout. Sighing, he moved over so she could have a spot next to him.

"Come on..." He muttered.

(Y/N)'s face lit up a bit and laid down next to him. She wrapped her arms around him and clung to him. Kadaj looked a bit annoyed by this but he decided to let it go. He put one arm around her running his hands through her hair to calm her down a bit. After a while, (Y/N) finally went back to sleep.

Kadaj looked at her sleeping face and sighed. He thought it was strange that she would always go to him whenever she'd have nightmares. Yazoo and LoZ were more nicer than he was. But, he decided to put that question aside. He didn't want to upset (Y/N) by telling her no that she couldn't sleep next to him after every nightmare that she has. He knew that they scared her and that every night she'd tend to stay awake besides bug him about sleeping next to him. So, some nights he'd let her sleep next to him until she'd fall asleep and the next morning he'd take her to her own bed before his brothers would find out that she slept next to him.
